For the Kids

Here is how we have prepared a place for you and the whole family.

Your kids will love this!! Everybody from birth through 5th grade is invited!  River Kids is a fun environment designed just for kids and we can’t wait to partner with you to influence this next generation! Our safe, clean, and secure environments are offered during both of our weekend services.  Any volunteer with a name-tag will be happy to answer your questions and point you and your kids in the right direction.   And don’t worry—we’ll let you know if your child needs you at any point during the service.

Safety

We take lots of steps before kids arrive to keep them safe. Every environment gets cleaned and sanitized, and every volunteer is screened with an interview and background check. Our whole team — from staff members to small group leaders to safety personnel — are trained to keep your kids safe.

Check-in

From the moment you pull in the parking lot, you’ll notice lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way. Your first stop when you arrive is the new family check-in area in the lower level of our campus. In order to best serve you, we’ll take some time to get to know you. We’ll ask about allergies, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your contact information. Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during service, we will send you a quick message letting you know that you’re needed. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick-up your child after service.

Something for all ages

Our environments and lesson materials are taught in a way your child will understand. The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

Making it fun

Kids love to have fun and we do too! We create fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, events, activities, and singing. When children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back.
