Too often our world is a dark place filled with tragedy and disaster. But Christmas is a season and celebration of light! Jesus said, “I am the light of the world!” He brings hope and salvation to the hurting. Jesus says to us, “You are the light of the world!” His Spirit empowers us to be lit and reflect his love and compassion to those around us! This Christmas, join our church as we get LIT and light up our dark world with the love and hope of Jesus!

Prophecy: Isaiah 9:2 NLT, The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.

Fulfillment: John 8:12 NIV, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. You are the light of the world.

Mission: Matthew 5:14, 16 NIV, You are the light of the world. … Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.
