Hero Training - Sermon Series - River Hills Christian Church

Series Overview

We live in a world full of challenges. Do we have what it takes to meet them effectively. Can an ordinary person like me be a hero?

Take a look at some of the people Jesus met. They are ordinary people just like you and me, so ordinary we don’t even know their names. They were nobodies. But just because they are ordinary doesn’t me they should be dismissed. The Bible singles each of them out for special mention. Each is a hero. Why? Because each learned some special qualities which Jesus mentions in his teaching. The Holy Spirit holds them up to us as examples.Their outstanding choices and their actions are worthy of imitation. Their very ordinariness is an encouragement.
