SERIES: Exploring Mark

The End of the Beginning – The Beginning of the End

March 28, 2021

by Jeff Metzger

Unmet expectations are hard to handle. For three years Jesus tried to change the expectations of his disciples. Jesus didn’t come to kill the Romans. He came to die for them! He didn’t come to seize their throne. He left his throne to serve us all, even to die. For both Judas and for Peter this was too much. They just didn’t get it and with shame and pain they both bailed. What will you do with shame and pain?

Big Idea: Everything Jesus went through he did for you.
