Some people are experts at looking good while skillfully avoiding being good. We have a name for
people like that – hypocrites. In religious circles behavioral conformity is far more important than inner
reality. One of the defining characteristics of Jesus’ teaching was his concern internal reality over
external conformity. We can be so short-sighted we dance around reality.
Big Idea: Real faith is lived from the inside out.
