David couldn’t get much worse.  His behavior was sinful, scandalous, sick.  Nathan, God’s prophet, describes David’s actions as “utter contempt for the Lord.”  Wow! David mismanaged his conduct in a spectacular way. He needed a do-over. And his example shows us how we can have a new beginning even after disastrous choices and a bad fall.  A do-over from my sin starts with a new heart within.
