Why He Came

January 27, 2019

by Jeff Metzger

Before Jesus appeared on the stage of human history he had a warm up act – his cousin, John, introduced Jesus to the world. John the Baptist not only sets the stage for Jesus, he tells us why he came. He didn’t come to make the old ways better. He Came to bring something entirely new. He came to bring a new Kingdom, a new covenant with new movement, the global ekklesia of God. Why did he come? He came for you!

Big Idea: He came to bring something entirely new.

Personal Big Idea: Jesus came for you – to make you new.
