Sundays 6:00-8:00 p.m.
For all students in 7-12 grade
Loveland Campus in the student center (across the lobby and downstairs)
The core of River Student Ministries is our Sunday evening program, NOVA. The student band leads energetic and powerful worship specifically styled for young people. We challenge students with videos and messages that speak to where they are in life. After worship and the lesson, we divide into discussion groups so the students have an opportunity to unpack the lesson and apply it to them personally. Each week we have snacks for everyone. And when it’s warm we’re outside at the bonfire, grilling out, or swimming in our lake!
Sundays 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
For all students in 5-6 grade

Fayetteville MiX 56 coming soon!
MiX 56 is a place just for preteens (5-6 graders) that is welcoming, fun, and teaches Biblical truth in a way that speaks to them. They’re in that in-between stage in life that’s a mix of childhood and adolescence — a little too old for River Kids and a little too young for Student Ministry. So we use a mix of kids and student ministry to create an environment that engages them in their spiritual journey and gives them a place of their own that’s fun and that they can look forward to every Sunday. Their area has video games, air hockey, foosball, and snacks. You can expect games and an engaging lesson time every week.
Events and Trips
Throughout the year we have weekend and week-long trips to retreats and conferences, several local events, and all kinds of fun outings. They’re designed to be fun, spiritually challenging, friendly, and safe. There’s always something awesome right around the corner. Our parent email newsletter has all the info on the big stuff coming up!

Why do we do this?
Instead of looking at adolescence as a pool party where teenagers just lounge around and wait for something to happen, we challenge them to use this unique time in life as an opportunity to launch into adulthood with purpose and momentum.
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” – Luke 2:52
Jesus grew intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually. In the midst of the important things in teenagers’ lives (school, sports, extracurricular activities, and friends) we don’t want to forget the most important component to their development: spiritual growth.
River Student Ministries exists to connect young people to God and one another. We accomplish that in these three ways:
With Biblical teaching we provoke and encourage students to grow deeper in their relationship with God and let Him transform them into the person He’s created them to be. We challenge young people to rethink their assumptions and to stretch themselves to new levels of personal and spiritual growth. With worship we try to create an environment and opportunity for students to celebrate and connect with God.
We build and nurture a community of encouragement and accountability. There are a lot of influences in the lives of young people. It’s important for them to have a healthy community where they feel they belong and that provides good peer influences. God calls every Christian to be an active member of His kingdom, so we also give opportunities for teens to step into leadership and put their gifts into action.
God calls every Christian to be a light in the world. We challenge students and equip them with Biblical knowledge to shine a light into the lives of the people around them with their actions and their words, and to be a good influence at their schools and in their families. We equip students and encourage them to put their faith into action by selflessly serving the community around us and the people in their lives.
